Want to serve others and use your time and talents to further the Kingdom of God?

We can’t do what we do without the aid of volunteers who bring helping hands, energy, and encouragement to our camps and conferences!

As a year-round, non-profit ministry, we are constantly in need of people who can join us on a missional adventure and help with maintaining facilities and running programs. Know how to fold t-shirts? Capable of mopping a dining hall floor? Willing to run a game of archery tag? Have a lifeguard certification? No matter your skill, there’s something you can do to help!

Come immerse yourself in natural beauty and a fun-filled community while making it possible for Berea Ministries to share the Gospel in New England and beyond.

Volunteer opportunities

We offer a range of year-round volunteer opportunities with flexible schedules and a variety of availability, from one-time camp cleanup days to serving as a ministry consultant or camp nurse for a longer period of time. Whether it’s for an afternoon, a weekend, or a summer break, your time spent volunteering will have an eternal impact.

Summer

We love summer camp, and if you do too, come join us! Pour into campers as a Cabin Leader, serve as an on-site nurse, wash dishes, clean bathrooms, or help run activities and games. Whether you volunteer for a week or all summer long, there are so many ways to be a part of the life change that is happening here!

Kitchen

Love to cook and create welcoming environments for everyone? It’s a never-ending task to prepare food for 200+ campers, clean up, and repeat the process three times a day! The kitchen can always use extra hands washing dishes, maintaining the food line, or preparing food whenever campers or retreat guests are on site.

Facilities

Handle all the behind-the-scenes maintenance and housekeeping tasks that ensure our environment is safe and welcoming to all who set foot on site. Take care of maintenance needs, building projects, landscaping, and cleaning, or sign up for one of our organized camp cleanup days!

Programming

Whenever campers or guests are on site, we host a wide variety of activities. You could run the tubing hill at Camp Berea, be a lifeguard at Camp Kerith, help lead a game at Camp Monadnock, and be a part of creating the fun that draws people to camp!

Professional Services

Want to use your professional skills for the glory of God? We are often in search of trained individuals, such as carpenters, electricians, nurses, and communications professionals, who can help with specialized projects, skilled roles, or corporate ministry needs.

Group Volunteering

Are you part of a small group, men’s/women’s group, youth group, or other community? Bring your whole group to serve! We’ll match you with needs that fit your group’s size and skills while creating opportunities for your group to connect and bond as you give back.
